This plan provides 24 hours / 7 days and worldwide coverage, yearly renewable and extended to all active Malaysian students of UPSI, subjected to the policy’s terms, conditions and exclusions as specified in the Policy Contract between Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris and Etiqa Family Takaful Berhad | Etiqa General

The scope of benefits for Malaysian Student are as summarised below:

IMPORTANT NOTES :
- Group takaful plan above is applicable to all active members of Malaysian students registered with
UPSI. - Age limit of members – 16 years old till 65 years old.
- Medical expenses due to accident for treatment in hospital or clinic are payable on reimbursement
basis up to the maximum of RM12,000.00 for 1 year. - Daily hospital ward allowance is payable based on number of days stays in the hospital (Private
Hospital or Government Hospital) due to accident or sickness up to maximum of 30 days. - Funeral Expenses benefit is payable within 24 hours upon request by the University or payable with
death benefit upon submission of complete claim documents. - Repatriation benefit is payable up to RM3,000.00 (maximum) due accidental or sickness death. The
repatriation service can be arranged by Etiqa Agency upon request by the University. - Dengue Recuperation is payable one off RM500 upon diagnosis confirmation by attending
Physician. - In the event the Covered Person is raped whilst this certificate is in-force, the Takaful Operator will
pay the amount of compensation as specified in the Schedule for rape trauma provided always that
the covered person submits the Police Report and Medical Report to the Takaful Operator.
Overall Annual Limit for Permanent Disablement
It is the maximum annual reimbursement for benefits payable in respect of expenses incurred for treatment provided to the Insured Person during the period of insurance as stated in the Schedule of Benefits. Table 1.1
